What's up at the MYGEMS Science Center?   

The MYGEMS Science Center and staff would like to say thank you to all of the wonderful organizations that have sponsored the hands-on science events each year.    MYGEMS is continuing to grow and  have expanded our programs as we offer in- house as well as community based programs. 

MYGEMS has provided exceptional science programs for more than a decade.  We continue to have successful because of the tremendous amount of support our parents, community leaders, schools, youth organizations and  children have shown us.  We could not have done this without all of your support.  Our children continue to show an ingeneous spark in science because of YOU!

We have provided hands-on science activities to over 200 schools, churches and youth groups and organizations.  Here is just a partial list of our past and current clients.

There were also numerous people, businesses and organizations that were instrumental in providing monetary donations so that more than a thousand children could partake in the activities that we had this year. MYGEMS continues to bring the scientific bang in education by inspiring and empowering youth. We have many great programs throughout the year, including our PreK science programs, Homeschool Science Programs, Friday Night Science and more.

The Kids' Corner

• Hey Kids! Do you want to learn how to make slime. Click on Science Experiments if you would like to learn how to make the infamous MYGEMS Slime with a twist, then call us and explain how you changed the mixtures to get the best kind of ooey, gooey, slime!
• If you like CSI, then you will be able to define some of the terms used in the field of forensic science. Tell me if you got all of the definitions right. We'd love to hear from you!
